Yesterday we went to Illinois for a graduation/good-bye party for my cousin, Kristen. We celebrated her degree from Truman State and visited with her before she leaves for Turkmenistan with the Peace Corp for 2 years. The kids destroyed Daniel's playroom!! Kylie and Campbell had a fun afternoon together too. They enjoyed the bracelets Kristen got them in India and even gave each other hugs and kisses when it was time to say good-bye! It was a long day (especially since we had a flat tire on the way home and a three hour trip home turned into a five hour trip home!), but we're so glad we were able to see Kristen before she leaves. We plan to write and send lots of pictures to her while she is gone. Chad has already decided Zachary should write a letter every week to practice his writing, spelling, etc!
