L. Jenelle Gibbs 12/23/1917-1/21/2009
My great grandma, Jenelle, went to be with her savior last week and as I look back on my favorite memories of her I appreciate the love and encouragement she offered me. Her husband, my grandad, died almost 20 years ago and although I was his great grandchild she continued to treat me as one of her own. I think of all the times she reminded me how proud he would be of me at milestones in my life. I remembered how happy she was to see me and Kylie the last time we visited her...how she enjoyed my boys...the Christmas tree we brought and decorated for her a few Christmases ago...the joy she found in others!
